i feel horrible.

sick.
flu was making me feel so 'heavenly' today.
to the extent of me screwing up simple multiplication -.-
kept flowing like a spoilt tap, and sneezing like no tomorrow.
._.
think it's gonna be better by tomorrow. i hope.
usually i would have this kind of "flu" for one or two days and it will be gone.
it's just like a troubled person. after he or she pours out her troubles, she will feel much better.

tired.
leisure time has been sacrificed for sleep.

horrible. since yesterday.
to the extent of being unbearable.
feeling=cannot be put into words.
don't know why, as if a heavy weight of 138652836kg is pulling me down deep inside.

why do i have to be reminded?

you see a cheerful, happy girl who smiles and crap. laughing away with her friends
but do you actually know, that what she feels inside is actually horribly unbearable?

i came to realise that what i perceived myself to be during lower sec was wrong.
i'm actually just a normal female teen.
emotional and fragile. deep inside.

i feel messed up.
don't know whats wrong with me.
even if you ask me what happen, i will say "i don't know"
can't really put into words.
why am i unsure of things that i'm so sure of previously?
why do i feel so afraid of things?
where's that confidence that i had previously?
i seemed that it had vanished on monday.
side-tracking.

seems that my "subconscious" mind is taking over me.
subconsciously, not yet.

laughing is healthy.
i need more laughters.

Beware of Garbage Trucks

How often do you let other people's nonsense change your mood?

Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss, or an insensitive employee ruin your day? Unless you're the Terminator, for an instant you're probably set back on your heels. However, the mark of a successful person is how quickly he/she can get back her focus on what's important.

Sixteen years ago I learned this lesson. I learned it in the back of a New York City taxi cab. Here's what happened.

I hopped in a taxi, and we took off for Grand Central Station. We were driving in the right lane when, all of a sudden, a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his breaks, skidded, and missed the other car's back end by just inches!

The driver of the other car, the guy who almost caused a big accident, whipped his head around and he started yelling bad words at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was friendly. So, I said, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!'

And this is when my taxi driver told me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.'

Many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it. And if you let them, they'll dump it on you. When someone wants to dump on you, don't take it personally. You just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. You'll be happy you did.

So this was it: The 'Law of the Garbage Truck.'

I started thinking, how often do I let Garbage Trucks run right over me? And how often do I take their garbage and spread it to other people: at work, at home, on the streets?

It was that day I said, 'I'm not going to do it anymore.' I began to see garbage trucks. I see the load they're carrying. I see them coming to drop it off. And like my Taxi Driver, I don't make it a personal thing; I just smile, wave, wish them well, and I move on. One of my favorite football players of all time, Walter Payton, did this every day on the football field. He would jump up as quickly as he hit the ground after being tackled. He never dwelled on a hit. Payton was ready to make the next play his best.

Good leaders know they have to be ready for their next meeting.
Good parents know that they have to welcome their children home from school with hugs and kisses.
Teachers and parents know that they have to be fully present, and at their best for the people they care about.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let Garbage Trucks take over their day. What about you? What would happen in your life, starting today, if you let more garbage trucks pass you by?

You'll be happier here's my bet.

So.. Love the people who treat you right.
Forget about the ones who don't.
Believe that everything happens for a reason.
If you get a chance, TAKE IT!
If it changes your life, LET IT!

Nobody said it would be easy...
They just promised it would be worth it!

Being a person's friend is always better than trying to be their 'teacher' and telling them this is wrong, this is right etc...

Remember, "One does not care about how much you know, unless they know how much you care."

SP Open House!

SP's open house yesterday.
hmmm. got to know more about my desired course, and others
was asking questions regarding courses etc.
cleared some of my doubts.
some classmates have the same desired course as me! XD
walked around in kinda a big group. carrying our goodie bags and eating ice-creams XD
went to view booths, student projects and exhibits.
patrick rode the game simulator? yeah. something like that =X
and had a tour of student projects after that.
the dream home thingy is cool!
saw a robot band. cool! XD
kinda cute actually =X
after that, lunch and then went back to school for band by cab.

band was...tiring?
stamina has been bad. feel tired after playing jericho and noah's ark.

other than that, nothing much really.
hungry again. nvm. i have ramly burger and cheese tofu! XD
and feel rather quiet lately...especially when i'm alone o_o

i've been neglecting you recently :(

ahhhhhh. what should i say?
I JUST FEEL SUPER DUPER TIRED after school everyday.
mind just...practically blank when i reach home.
and sort of....having something pulling me down recently.
thus blog bugs are not active. either no mood or energy ._.

oh wells. nothing much to blog about.
screwed up during surprise test. esp a math.
qns in e math are like...those that i dunno how to do or forgotten the formulas!

oh yeah! recently, just feel that i've turned into a food monster.

SCARY!! eating once every 3 hours.
there was once i ate supper which was as heavy as my dinner. those kind of serving size.

yesterday!

career workshop stuff.
trainer was gooood!
and coincidentally, that trainer who was taking my class yesterday was also the one who trained my mum!
COOOL! XD
knew it only when i came back to tell my mum XD
and the night before the workshop, my mum told me that if the trainer was ian or PK, tell her.
i thought she said 'yan' or something like that. cause of the pronounciation.
who knows that she was referring to him!

the results of the analysis?
some were not accurate, cause i've changed after nov last year.
i know it myself.
hmmm. some of them were accurate though.
the 'strengths' graph especially.
gonna take it again sometime before my o lvls or after it.
my mum does this kind of stuff also mah XD
will occasionally go into her room and read that thick file of stuffs relating to this =X
interesting mahh!
was actually supposed to do this career thing for her last yr, with learning skills, personality analysis and all that, but i didn't =X

YEAH! MY NEW PHONE WAS DELIVERED TODAY!

Didn’t really feel like blogging.

Didn’t update for the first day of school! =X
hmmmms. Feel kinda weird?

Started school as a sec 4 student. Not really used to it =X
went to class. Settled admin stuff- class committee, check particulars, timetable, seating arrangements etc.
was quite happy with my 2^nd last seating arrangement. But was changed ._.
nevermind~ at least not the first row. I hate sitting at the first row =X
had a few changes of teachers.
recess! Saw seri XDD
hmmm. Ss lesson was talky. O__o
english was hilarious! XD

Hmmms. After that nothing much.

Ate lunch then went home.
that was my first day of school XD

TODAY!~

social and dining etiquette workshop! At park royal hotel~
interesting course! XD
both talks were HILARIOUS!
especially the dining etiquette one.
was laughing so hard all the way throughout the talk!
XDD
Yeah. That guy is definitely a good professional speaker.
can fill the room with everyone's laughter XD
Had our four course meal after that.
haha! The guys at our table were funny la XD
They didn’t bother to follow the stuff that we were told during the talk. XD
And RAIN asked me a question sooo formally until I couldn’t answer him.

Felt very full after the meal.
Enjoyable time! XD

went back to school after that. Slept on the bus =X
went back to class. Class dismissed.
Went for lunch. Went home.

and i can hear them running around and chasing each other o_______o.
i was giving that o______o *raises eyebrow look* and cursing them to keep quiet cause i was concentrating on my homework.
then i looked at my clock.
ahaha. didn't know that it was 2008 already!
and the only thing i feel different was that.....

i became hungrier.

my stomach was growling lar! =X
i dunno why. suddenly i felt super hungry.
AND THERE WAS NOTHING TO EAT AT HOME!
except all those candy and chocolates that i have on my table. o___o
does that mean that i will eat more in the year 2008?!
maybe. i should eat more. =X
